2008-09-08 Little Red Riding Hood costume
Lane saw this pattern and proclaimed it "cool". How could I not make an easy Halloween costume that is "cool", to boot? What's better, you ask? I got both fabrics for just $1 a yard at WalMart! With the ribbon, this a $9 costume. You can't beat that!
Then I decided to make with the same pattern a Harry Potter cape for BJ to wear to his school Halloween party. They give out prizes to the best costumes every year. I'll add a stick for a wand and a broom, along with some round glasses to complete this for him.
